This truck used to sit in a transmission shop dirt parking lot. After passing by it a looking at it every day for two years, I finally called the tranny shop to ask if they would sell it. They put my in contact with the trucks owner. Long story short, he sold it to me for $500 bucks! All it needed was a new set of spiders in the rear, and some fresh gas! When he handed me the title I was surprised to see all the maint. records and various other paperwork on this truck. Turns out, I'm the 3rd owner! Ive got all the paperwork to prove it, and all the records logged from 1978 to 1998 clocking the odometer in at 78,000 miles! I've done nothing to this truck other than spiders and toolbox. I got it just the way you see it. My interest in this truck is that my dad used to have one exactly like it 10 years ago in another state. My dad tries to buy it from me everytime he sees it now, but I will never sell it. I like having something that no one else in the Myrtle Beach area has. It turns heads and gets compliments everytime I wash it at the local carwash. It has the original 360 engine, a nonsmoker, and the granny fourspeed tranny. It also has 35 x 12.50 15's on it, not sure on the lift. I would like to restore it, but then again, I like to play in the mud with it. How does one choose which to do........?
