Here's my 1990 Jaguar XJS with 29,238 original miles and in absolutely showroom new condition. (I know... I see so-called "mint", "pristine", "showroom" condition XJS's advertised all the time, but upon close scrutiny, they are anything but.) I searched long and hard for one that truly IS showroom new and patience finally paid off. (I found it in Arkansas!!) Originally purchased from Leith Jaguar in Cary, North Carolina, the original and second owners never drove it in the rain or snow and always kept it detailed. It has been meticulously preserved - I even have the original window sticker, all sales and accessory brochures, books and manuals, canvas top cover (aka "hood cover") and Jaguar sheepskin seat covers. Also, this car does not leak any fluids. I bought this car in May of 2008 and as of yet, I have never seen even the slightest drip of oil underneath. No oil, no coolant, no ATF, no nuthin'! I know that keeping the engine cooler is the biggest factor, so I have had the lower temperature t-stats installed, as well as the lower temp aux. fan switch. The gauge rarely gets above the "N" at stop lights on the hottest days, and needle is usually at the lower edge of the "N" while cruising. I recently had the radiator removed and rodded out to ensure maximum coolant flow.
