This is my 1994 Volvo 960. Pretty much all the work I have done on it is in the audio department other than a K&N high-flow filter and after-market halogen headlights with blue-tinged foglights. My audio set up is as follows:

Head Unit: Dual XDM 6820 200x4 watt MP3/CD/iPod unit with blue lighting

Front Dash: Stock Volvo "Premium" 3" paper-cones

Front Doors: Alpine Type S component system with 6.5" bass/mids and 2.25" tweeters (I ran the wiring for the tweeters up through the door handles/arm rests so I wouldn't have to drill a hole through the door other than to mount it)

Rear Doors: 5.5" Concept coaxial speakers with 300hz/4ohm Bass Blockers and stock Volvo grills.

Trunk: Two 10" Rockwood Xplore XR-3910 Subwoofers (1100W peak each, 4-ohm with dual voice coils) in a big box.

The subs are being pushed by a 840W Peak/400 RMS Rockwood Xplore 4040 amp with heavy-gauge wiring. I messed around with the covers of my "pass through" in the back seat of my car to keep it open at all times for ventilation purposes (you can see this in the picture). With the center armrest in the down position, the amp gets more than enough circulation to keep it from overheating, even in the hot Hawaii summers.

I also installed a custom hidden on/off switch installed in the dash (you can't see unless you are looking straight on into the dash with your head almost touching the gear shift as you can see in these pictures).

I am looking to possibly install a capacitor because of excessive light dimming at night when my bass hits...or I might just upgrade my battery. I also am considering re-installing some 6x9 mid-bass speakers in the the rear deck of the trunk-my stock speakers were stolen along with my older Blaupunkt head unit and 12" Kicker Comps. Feel free to leave your input/suggestions as to why you think should be next, and give my car the rating you think it deserves!

Thanks for taking a look!
