This is my 1998 Toyota Celica GT, its mostly all sock right now, a Few Mods i've done are some NGK Iridium Spark Plugs and Blue Cables, Front and Rear Crossed Drilled Rotors and a New K&N Drop In Air Filter but ounce i'm able to get more funds i'll start to modify it some more, for now she's my Daily Driver and a pretty fun one too. She has over 200,000 Miles on the Odometer but she still runs Strong. The Engine is a 5S-FE also found in the Camry, it's not a very popular Engine to tune but it's definitely one of my favorite engine models. It runs great, has plenty of torque and gets fairly good Gas Mileage, whats not to love about it, It might not be the fastest but I love what I have. The Rims are stock 15-inch rims that look good and the Tires are Kumo Ecsta ASX tires, that hug the road amazingly and there tread patterns look sweet.

Not the brightest but easy enough to see, Might change the bulbs later

Ahhhh its past the 200,000 Miles mark!

The Engine

Just a Few Random Pictures of the Engine before the new Plugs and Cables
The Engines is a 5S-FE
Stock Power Numbers are
135Hp @ 5400 RPM's
145Lb/ft @ 4400 RPM's
Max Redline 6300 RPM's
Not Very much Power but pretty good numbers for a Daily Driver with plenty of torque at the low end

Here's How the Engine Looks with the NGK Blue Spark Plug wires and a Blue Oil Filter
Just Some Normal Routine Seal Changing, The Valve Cover Seal was leaking so i replaced it, snapped some neat pictures of the Camshafts and Slave-Cam Gears =)

NA Stands for Naturally Aspirated
I like Turbo but im more fond of Naturally aspirated Engines they just sound better =)

My New K&N Air Filter, Got it after I saw my old Filter was near Black on the underside. This thing literally brought my car back to life and my MPG is definitely better

Though I live in California this is proof my car is a Fed Spec and not lower Cali Spec, so i do have that Extra 5 ponies. Not to good for when i need to get a smog check though

Nice celica bro! I love the color you have choosen, that's the right color for a celica! These cars have great rally heritage too man, you would be surprised what kind of fun you can get into. Keeping the suby clean is a tough chore, i spend about 2 hours cleaning it everytime I go off road. The suspension has been broken, and replaced, and broken, and replaced etc until I got rid of all the weak points. It's strong like an ox now, basically completely rebuilt except shocks and springs lol. I have a feeling those shocks are going next! Woo hoo, more opportunity to build it stronger. Break it, build it better, thats the way! Thank you for checking out my Subaru WRX with 81 mods and supporting it for SOTW with comments, votes, and stars! Much appreciation yo!
