Bought this car in Nov of 07, rolled onto the local dealer lot and saw this lil yellow car sittin all by its lonesome so i had to go check it out...i had been spending all day that day lookin for a yellow GTO but no luck, so i do a quick walk around of her and immediately i know its not just a lil 4cyl, so i open the hood and there is that cute lil M62 supercharger.  I ask to test drive it and scared the hell outta the salesman, we get back to the dealership and i say you can have my 01 Durango R/T...i want this car, and the rest is history.  The first day i had her i decided to see what she had so i took her out to a empty highway and opened it up, hit 158 mph and ran outta room on the road so had to shut it down, im excited to see what exactly i can do with this car.

 Now-a-days i spend my time and money tryin to make it faster and keep it clean, now thats a pain in the ass.

I have added a few parts and pieces to the girl and exerted alot of blood and sweat.  She now bares a painted engine bay with a ported and plugged supercharger, 2.8in pulley, 60lb injectors, Ingalls Stiffy torque damper, Injen CAI, AEM UEGO wideband gauge, OTT performance larger heat exchanger, Eibach Sportline springs, Vibrant header and downpipe, Corsa catback system, Hurst short throw shifter, 75 shot of Nitrous and a custom tune by Light'balt, it now has all forged internals that i just finished the build on and is bored .010 over with ceramic and teflon coated Diamond Forged pistons. I have taken it to the track a few times and so far have been able to pull off a 8.95@85.78mph in the 1/8th mile on a non-prepped track which was basically like runnin on your normal everyday street so traction was an issue.  Hope you enjoy lookin at my car as much as i do.

Some future plans for it are a meth kit, upgraded axles and 19" wheels just to name a few.  I am currently in the works of getting some silver carbon fiber racing stripes to go bumper to bumper.
