Who says girls can't own classic cars? No, this is most definitely NOT my dad's or my brother's car, they have their own. I grew up playing with cars (instead of dolls) with my big brother, and I have wanted a '57 Chevy Bel Air since the first time I saw one at age 6. So I saved up all my money for 10 years to buy this, and bought it from Dover, PA just in time for my 16th birthday. It won 1st place at the very first car show I took it to--I wasn't even 16 yet!--and it has been winning numerous trophies (especially 1sts) ever since. I have owned it for 7 years now and have no intention of ever selling it (so don't ask!) because the sentimental value is priceless. It is my pride and joy, a dream come true (hence the name "Midnight Dream") and the one thing I can truly call my own. It is completely original, restored by the last owner (who kept it in a 4-car heated garage) with parts with all factory-matching numbers and only 3000 restored miles (haven't put much more mileage on it since). It is a rare 4-door postless model, complete with skirts, and black exterior with red interior. Everything--from the undercarriage to the interior--is immaculate and rust-free. I never drive it in the winter or the rain (if I can help it) or to class or work, just to cruises and shows. It has an automatic powerglide transmission, V8 cylinder, four-barrel rochester, 283 engine, optional swaybar, vaccuum AM radio & wipers, and much more. If you think that's impressive, be sure to check out the pics of my '06 Chevy Cobalt SS!
