**PLEASE vote on my poll! I got an idea and I want some input!**

This is my 2005 Ford Mustang GT Legend Lime coupe......I love the color, but I was not looking for one this color when I bought her. I ended up getting a great deal on it because the dealer said they were sitting on it forever. Nobody wanted the lime Mustang; so I jumped on it. Out of 325,349 Stangs made in '05 and '06, only 4% (13,864) were made in this color. Out of those 13,864 only 5048 were GT's; making this car rare indeed. Today, with over a million S197 Mustangs out there, well under 1% of them share this color. So, I decided to run with her and make it more of a one of a kind car than she already was. Please rate her and feel free to comment and let me know what you think!
I call her Jade; for obvious reasons. She is #494 on LegendLimeRegistry.com out of the few that are registered. If you own a Limer, check out the site and get her registered!
These pics were taken at the end of the Miami 2008 HIN show on 12/20/08. The geniuses who ran the show though it was a good idea to keep the lights off the whole time. All the pics came out dark and useless.
Chicks love Stangs!
Same girl with hodzic's Stang. Check out his GT 350 tribute at: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2584424
GT500 front end conversion, painted chin lip, clear turn signals, California Dream functional ram-air fiberglass hood & HID lighting.
Partial painted mirror covers, shorty antenna, quarter window scoops, & Xenon side skirts.
Wheels are XXR 507 20x8.5 front & 20x10 rear. I added a "Pony" logo to the center cap to give it a more authentic look.
Rear black-out panel, black tail-light outlines, & clear rear side markers.
FlowMaster axle-backs with 4" chrome rolled tips. The rear bumper is stock, but with the Street Scene rear valance added onto it.
The car is stock height; I used tall tires to fill up the fenderwell gap and to protect the wheels from potholes and the sort.
The car has PowerSlot slotted rotors front & rear with ceramic brake pads. The calipers were painted in black for another customs touch.
Some more pics of other angles. The hood pins are billet aluminum.
I'm surprised the cops have only stopped me once for my tints. If course, I did absolutely nothing about it. ;) I'm also running Bosch frame-less windshield wipers.
The infamous "turned wheel pic". I love the staggered wheels; a must if you are RWD!
Close up of one of the front wheels & brakes. You can see the wheels are actually black; it's only the removable pieces which are painted to match the car.
This is my 9th Mustang, and they've all had FlowMasters. The only way to go on a Stang, if you ask me. I've heard other S197s with exhausts, but I haven't heard one that sounds like mine. Check out the video in the "My Videos" section to hear the exhaust and see a quick walk-around of the car.
I painted the mesh on the hood scoops black to match the rest of the car. It's the details that make the difference.....
This pic here looks like it should be in a magazine or something.....lol!
A few interior billet pieces: E-brake handle, a/c knobs, radio knob, cig lighter plug, shift boot trim, cup holder insert, door lock pins, head light switch, seat lumber supprt button cover, wiper and turn signal lever accents, mirror adjustment button/bezel and seat belt anchor covers. Also, I added the "Stang" plate between the a/c vents. The shifter handle and shift knob installed onto the Hurst shifter are both Roush billet pieces, as well. I also have a Bel-Tronics Vector FX2 which measures g-forces and calculates 0-60 times, 1/4 mile e/t's, HP, and many other features.
A few engine dress up pieces: billet strut tower caps, billet windshield washer cap, billet fuse box lid cover, chrome oil breather, Steeda CAI, and billet TB spacer. I'm running an Optima yellow-top gel battery (which has recently been relocated to the trunk) since I plan on adding a sound system soon. I put in a magnetic oil drain plug; to keep on eye on things, mostly. You can't see it in this pic, but when I put in the under-drive pulleys, I painted the water pump pulley in lime to match the car. Other mods you can't see include the headers and the AutoLite HT1 spark plugs.
Performance Mods: Steeda CAI with high-flow elbow, TB spacer, DiabloSport tuner with BamaChips 93 octane tunes, Steeda under-drive pulleys, AutoLite HT1 spark plugs, ceramic coated headers, off-road h-pipe, FlowMaster axle-backs, adjustable upper and lower control arms, CHE k-member brace with torque limiters, Hurst short-throw shifter, Fidanza aluminum flywheel, FMS 3.73 gears and the functional, fiberglass ram-air hood. (I use Royal Purple synthetic oil and K&N oil filters with all oil changes). I also relocated the battery to the trunk for better weight transfer.
Parts I have but not yet installed: Xenon quarter panel scoops,(both need to be painted), green LED side mirror turn signals, billet aluminum oil catch can, Zoom Stage 2 clutch, & black tail-light tints.
Near future mods include: A set of cams, GT500 65mm throttle body, one-piece aluminum drive shaft, a hood strut kit, and sequential tail lights. Also, I plan on getting more billet interior pieces.
Future mods: Supercharger, suspension work, and a sound system.
Thanks for looking and don't forget to rate!!! Check out the "My Videos" section for an exhaust video and a quick walk-around of the car!!!
