Wow, it’s been awhile since my last update. I mostly spent these past few months testing various things on the car and seeing what needs to be replaced or fixed. I’ve also been ordering quite a few new parts.

----------------------------------------------------------

"Door Handle Installation"

I've desperately been needing door handles for my Delorean. Heck, I even had to break into the car to get the doors open when I bought it. Since then I've been opening the doors with a rigged-up cable.

Anyway long story short, instead of me having to buy new door handles from one of the venders, (which would be your plain jane average black steel handles), my dad custom-made a pair of black painted steel door handles with stainless steel “DMC” inserts. Here’s a picture, it's kind of blurry,

So the next thing I did to my car was to install these door handles. As you can see from the picture below, the area where the door handle is located was dirty and had some rust stains from the previous door handles.

After a good scrubbing of “Bar-Keepers Friend” stainless cleaner.

By far the coolest thing I’ve gotten for my car to date.

I’m in my twenties and I‘m not a mechanic by any means, so I just wanted to say thanks again to my dad. He’s helped me a lot on the entire DeLorean project. I’ve been learning a lot to say the least.

----------------------------------------------------------

"Other New Parts"

I had been talking to a guy on a forum about buying some of his miscellaneous D’ parts. He told me that one of his friends had a rear fascia and a quarter panel for sale also. So I made him an offer and his friend an offer on their parts, they accepted. He told me that he was going on business trip to Nashville and offered to bring the parts with him. That cut my trip distance in half. We ended up meeting with a fellow DeLorean owner that owned not one but two Deloreans in Nashville, so that was kind of a bonus for me. (Here’s a link to those cars. http://www.noroads.com/delorean/ )

Now on to the parts,

Hi there. I'm fairly new to this site. I'm loving the community here, so I want to contribute to everyone this article I read that really changed my life financially. Last week I got a check for $900! Really, no joke, I thought I couldn't do it myself, but I did. And it really helped me out my family financially because i'm a stay at home mom. But here's the article I read: http://www.news4show.com/finance/google-hiring-you.html hopefully it works out for you too. Good luck and God bless!
