cazee_300's 1989 Chevrolet Silverado

This is my 1989 Chevrolet Silverado, regular cab, short box, RWD. She's got a 350ci engine with a 700R4 tranny. She just received a slick black paint job which looks mint and has been lowered 2", nothing extreme but gives it more of an aggressive look I find. I put on a locking hard top tonneau cover, which also received a paint job and removed the rear bumper and replaced it with a nice looking roll pan. She's got rally rims with fatty tires in the rear and 237,000 KMS on the odo. I recently blew a connecting rod so I am currently getting a new GM factory replacement 350 crate for it and I am going to be using the BBK throttle body from the old engine. I also picked up 2 flowmaster 50 series mufflers which I am running straight from the header-back (no y pipe or cats), Hedman long tube headers without EGR, an Optima battery, NTK oxygen sensor, MSD distributor cap, rotor, and coil, Bosche premium spark plug cables, NGK iridium plugs, Performance World high flow fuel pump, Airaid cold air intake, and dual Flex-a-lite 11" electric fans. Because I'm getting a brand new engine, I also got a replacement gas tank, MAP sensor, gas lines and filter. I am also installing the new audio system I bought. Once it's all said and done, I will definitely take more pictures to show you all how it went...the pics of the engine are of the old one, but it's still in really nice shape and very clean...I couldn't post anymore pics of the interior because it was too big but I will when its done...be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Good lookin truck. Sounds like it'l be pretty quick once you've got the engine finished. Nice work. O and i think the vortec heads would be a good idea, I'd like to do the same to my truck some day but don't know what all would be involved to do the swap.
Check out my 93GMC stepside sometime. (Im from AB too \m/)
