This is a great personal coupe that was under rated and under marketed, it's awd, 230hp, handles very well for a 3600lbs car, and it drives vault tight. Soon in about three months she will be 18yrs old with the original paint.....she still looks good, and body is in great condition. I've had several sport coupes or touring coupes and I like this most of all, it's not a over the top sports car nor totally boring. I'm in the process of working on "Foxy", my car sat in my garage for a few years waiting to be repaired. I put a battery in, changed the fluids, and without smoke or sputter the eg33 sang.

I will be making progress in the resto slowly but surely , I just don't want to go to far off the stock path. My goal is for "Foxy" to be a super clean mechanically sound tourer, not a 100m sprinter, but a strong distance runner. This runner loves the highway with it's all wheel drive rain, sleet, or snow this svx runs with sure feet which is always a plus here in the Chi. I just bought new tires and exhaust, I also charged my AC. I have change so many parts and my next job is a brake upgrade, new or resto leather.
"Foxy" is happy!

HID 35watt/6000k low beam; 35watt/3000k stock fogs/Alternate Fogs

Just a few pics after fresh detail, I also changed the secondary fog lights, and restored my leather seats.

Arun5s 1992 Subaru SVX  I made a few changes to my SVX and I started with the tranny and opt for a 4.44 geared tranny instead of the stock 3.54, Quick Change shift kit, power mode mod, aluminum crank shaft pulley, new exhaust tips and resonator, drilled and slotted disc, all oil seals and gaskets, new alternative fog lights, new belts, front links and strut mounts, cold air intake with K&N cone in fender midway to protect it from the elements, new 2 channel amp in addition to existing 2 & 4 channel amp 9 speaker system and a bluetooth ready sony head unit, restored leather seats.

this is very fine. i have an svx, 1992, lsl, and i am in hinsdale. this car has 186,000 miles, however, it is still running strong. the enjine is leaking oil on the top and ponding and the seals in general need to be replaced. would it be worth while to do this or wait until the engine needs internal work. or change the engine to another. its hard to find another svx engine that would be certified as sound mechanically. thanks in advance. any counsel will be appreciated. dave, barcorpinc@aol.com
