my car had a tapping noise and i just ingnored it i was driving on route 61 with my boy in the car and we were driving on the passing lane when my car was on 2k RPM and the knocking noise got pretty loud it went to 4k RPM and it just BLEW my car shifted to the other lane, it was smoking and I couldnt see, parts flying EVERYWHERE luckly noone was in the other lane.. it sounded like someone was under my car throwing rocks underneath my seat i didnt know wtf was going on i got nervous and started flipping out so i QUICK pulled the car over and since my car is dropped i hit a ditch and cracked the bumper a lil bit.. i looked under my car to see it sitting above a RIVER of oil.. i looked on the road and you can see from where it blew to where i stopped it was either a trail of oil or a trail of metal.. i popped the hood and saw that i had no connecting rod, no starter, and i can see my damn crankshaft and tranny (thats not good lol) so i called my bro-in law and he brought the dolley to take my car to his house once we got it on the dolley it just ripped off my bumper thats just minor..we popped the hood to find my starter lodged into my fans...this is not good
im buying a new block for it and replacing the bottom end..i got brand new motor mounts on it..new belts..spark plugs/wires ect..once i get it fixed im planning on selling
