1985 SCCA Bendix Trans-Am and IMSA Kelly American Challenge (AAC) Buick Somerset race car built in 1985 for Dick Danielson by Tommy Riggins to race in the Kelly American Challenge and SCCA Bendix Trans-Am race series. Car ran as #65 in SCCA Trans-Am and #17 in the IMSA Kelly American Challenge
Specs: Motor: 331 Cubic Inch Chevy V8 Car Weight: 2698 lbs.
Horsepower: 675+ @ 7,500 RPM Torque: 650 lbs. @ 7,500 RPM
Current Owner and Driver: Shaun Coleman
Original Drivers: Dick Danielson & Troy Waldron
Note: Troy Waldron was one of the only persons in IMSA or Trans-Am history allowed to race with an automatic transmission in this car due to a disability (it has sense been converted back to a Jerico 4speed but still has the ducting work for the old automatic transmission)
