Hot_Rod's CRX Si Purchased on May 29, 2008
My new project. The current goal is to make it a clean daily driver with a few performance mods. That goal may be subject to change.
The front page is the condition the car was in when I bought it. Read through the pages to see how this project is progressing
The car had been sitting for over a year when I purchased it. The car has been very neglected by its previous owners.
The car has numerous mechanical problems. The brakes are bad. It needs new rotors, calipers, pads and a master cylinder. The exhaust is rotten. The radiator is rotten and it has a blown head gasket. The front suspension needs attention, not sure yet what all is wrong there.
There are also numerous cosmetic problems. The windshield has a very large crack. The interior is filthy, but looks like a good cleaning will help a lot. There is a fair amount of rust on the body. The frame and floor pans, etc are all in good shape. Some of the undercoating is starting to come off, so that will need some attention soon.
