Well as in the previous page I mentioned my body kit...well I got it! Not to happy with the quality of it but I'll make it work. I received the kit and didn't even know it was coming. Anyway I received it and unpacked it and wasn't happy with what I saw.
Here is what I found:
Well instead of sending it back I decided to fix it. That isn't the only spot. In the rear bumper there was a couple cracks. I went and also fixed those. Well I'm currently in the process of getting everything fitted up and sanded down. I actually got everything sanded down and started fitment of the side skirts.

I can't wait to get everything done and on. Everything is almost ready for primer. Check back soon. I'll be posting pics as we get things fitted up.

Today we got everything sanded down real well and ready for primer. There was a few spots we found that need bondo so we fixed those up and resanded those areas and got the front and rear bumper primed. The side skirts will hopefully be primed tomorrow. I plan on going to a local car show Sat., hoping the will be kitted.

Got off of work today and went over the my grandparents house to help work on my kit. My grandpa had the skirts already fitted and ready for primer. I took the front bumper outside and started to wetsand it to get it smooth and ready for sealant. Tomorrow first thing we're gonna shot the skirts with primer and then while they're drying we're gonna get the front and rear bumper fitted up and then i'll be able to wetsand both the read and the skirts so there ready for sealant and paint.

well not to much got done today but in a sense it did. We got the front bumper totally fitted up and ready to paint. I got the rear bumper totally sanded down and ready to be fitted up and then painted. The side skirts still need to be shot with primer but it shouldn't take to long to sand them down and get them ready for paint.

Well got the side skirts painted and cleared today. Tomorrow morning we will get the skirts on and then fit the rear bumper, then paint the front and the rear. Everything should be on by the end of the day! May not be buffed but they will be on.

Well today was ok until a number of things happened. Came in and got the skirts put on, no big deal; then we started to fit the rear bumper and a number of lines don't match up. All the lines will be fixed tomorrow. Before all that gets finished the front bumper will be put on. I'm lucky the front even got painted because started to paint it once and the paint reacted with something, tried to do it again and it did it again in a different spot, then again in a different spot. We had no luck with the damn painting today. We broke the air regulator on the gun. All in all the bumper got painted and cleared. It will get buffed out in the morning, then put on.

IT'S FINISHED!!!! Finally the beast is done. I can officially say I'm in love with my car. It looks great! I ended up having to change my exhaust too because it came out in the wrong spot. i ended up hacking off the muffler i bought and just leaving it off and welding the tip back on. It sounds great. It's got a great tone.
