I purchased my DII in Aug of 2000, and started modifying it about two months later. After all I have done so far, I still have several things planned, so stay tuned. It's my daily driver and my primary family transport. The mods I've made to date are:

Suspension:

RoverTym 3? springs (actually netted almost 4?)
Front DDF 1? spacers
Rancho 9000 shocks
RoverTym extended brake lines
ABS/ETC extensions
Expedition Exchange spring retainers
Rear DSI lower spring perches (req?d for retainers-gives approx .75? addt?l lift)
Custom upper and lower rear shock mounts (mounts shocks forward at 45degree angle for greater travel and raises lower mount flush with axle)
Modified front and rear radius arm bushings
Bearmach front differential guard
GBR rear drive shaft (replaces Rotoflex with HD u-joint)
Front True-Trac limited slip diff
Rear Detroit locking differential
Manual CDL linkage (adds third knob to lock/unlock center differential)
285/75/16 (33?) Yoko Geolander AT Plus II Tires

Body:

Custom (by me) front bumper with recovery points
Warn 8274-50 winch recessed into grill
Custom (by me) rear bumper with integral quarter panel sliders & corner protection tubes
Class III receiver integrated into rear bumper
Approx. 7? trimmed from rear quarter panels
High clearance exhaust exits through quarter panel
RoverTym HD sliders
Factory roof rails removed
Safety Devices low-profile Adventure rack (imported by Thatched Roof Garage)
Hella 4000 Euro beams mounted on rack
Tool kit mounted on inside of cargo door

Accessories:

60? Hi-Lift jack
Jack-Mate Hi-Lift attachment
Wedco fuel cans (2)
Wedco water cans (2)
Homemade onboard CO2 tank
ARB 41 qt. Freezer/Fridge
Assorted recovery gear

Future Plans:

Swing away tire/can/jack carrier mounted to rear bumper (being built now)
Interior cargo rack/divider
Fuel tank skid plate
Under vehicle skid plates
Custom front cross-member
Custom rear ladder (factory unit is too short)

That's really nice- it looks like it'd be extremely capable offroad. Good pictures, too! Check out my Chevy S-10 sometime, thanks!
