Interlude
A Summer Trip
Winter had quickly passed, the spring had came and nearly went; summer was soon to begin. B.B.'s role as high school transport was nearly done.
Several weeks into the summer B.B. became restless, he could not stand being enclosed in a garage for countless hours nor being driven less than 50 miles a week. He just refused to remain confound to south Texas.
So on June 20th, B.B. sets off for an overnight stay in Louisiana to catch a glimpse of the sportman's paradise.
On the way there he steadily cruised across I-10 at 70 MPH, only stopping once in Winnie for a brief break.
After reaching the destination, curiosity filled the Fit and he takes a few routes through the backroads of Allen Parish and posed a couple of pics.
The next day B.B. was topped off and inspected for the return trip to Texas. It was at this Chevron gas station in Elton, LA where B.B. managed to crack into the 40+ MPG club by two tenths of a gallon.
The Tale
Chapter 2: College Bound
On a dark Friday night after college orientation, a large tire shread was struck with B.B's front lip. Luckly, the only damage done to it was a few minor black scuff marks. However, this could have been avoided if the factory lightbulbs were brighter. So soon afterwards they were changed for PIAA Intense White Bulbs which burn at 4100K and produce a crisp white light.
