The 'RUN DOWN' - 240 straight 6 (6000 miles), C4 automatic (7000 miles) *Dash completely restored (then this stereo install dude f'd the cut out & flake it out) and new OE glove box liner and front wall rubberized for sound deadening. Also installed a new OE turn signal switch (NOS). Front seats are out of a late 80's Eddie Bauer Bronco II with power lumbar (no wires run to it yet though).*Heater box completely disassembled & resealed with new blower motor, heater core, switch valve and all control cables lubed.*Approx 6000 miles on rebuilt motor with a new exhaust manifold, side cover gasket, chrome valve cover & gasket, cap & rotor, spark plugs & wires, new fuel pump, all rockers adjusted, doghouse removed, painted & entirely insulated. Electric fan wired to ignition on with adjustable thermostat where the choke cable used to come out on the front of the doghouse. Radiator was tripled cored and has internal trans cooler; it even has the wind tray to guide the cooler air straight into the radiator! 1bbl carb with automatic choke gets a best 20.9MPG!! This motor is all sweetheart!*Succesfully converted to C4 auto with driveline cut and re-balance with new u-joints & rear output yoke (I manage an Aamco) and spared no expense in this trans. (You'll like what I did with the shifter on this one as I locked the neutral gate up a ways and now Park drops down into it as a lock mechanism. COOL!*Surface rust on the floor and bed was treated then went down with ROLL-ON BED LINER front to back (except under the driver seat & batt boxes) which made for nice protection as well as sound deadening!*New outer tie rods, new steering drag-link, new king pins, new wheel bearings all around, brakes are at least 75% all around, Brand new 5-spoke chromes and locks from Les Schwab with 70% tread left on these P215/65R15 skins.*New RV battery and multi-battery isolator with 6 fuse panel (for whatever you'd like to wire in) and a 3-way 12 volt outlet thru a 15amp relay (both mounted currently on the battery box), a 12v ceramic heater (115w low or 250w high fan speeds) and a 400w power inverter for your 120 stuff. A 5w solar charger helps to keep some trickle going back throughout the daylight hours. I also have a 12v/120 camper fridge ready for the install in cabinetry of your design. Works out great for the many trips this van's been on with me! *I have all the chrome mouldings and inserts for both outside side strips as well as a lot of interior chrome for this rig as well. I also have the four original hub caps, 2 extra (used) 1bbl carbs, headlight/fuse switch, extra turn signal switches, headlight grilles and more.* I have the original front seats and the original two bench seats (have cracked vinyl but they'd be perfect for re-upholstering) for the rear! I also have the original walls that have those cute little flip down ashtrays in them. All of the inside window trim is in tact.BELOW AND FOLLOWING PAGES ARE PROGRESS PICSNow that my nephew's Mustang's done... wifey's got another project to hate. Ahhh, the simple things in life that bring us great pleasure, huh? This sweetheart has been sitting in my brother's garage for at least 3 years & he knows enough about vehicles to be dangerous. Well, I decided it was time to make some progress with her.
