this fuel door is off a 69.68 has no r logo.I got this one at the local Pick Your Part wrecking yard.I dig the r logo.
700 r4 trans.Crossmember and mount mod.weld a few brackets,relocate the mount back a little bit ,some cut weld and drill on the crossmember,and that part of the job is done.If you include the couple of trial and error attempts,and brain storming,now your having fun.
Hei distributer.This is how I did it.Go to boneyard.likely you won't find one,I could not.You can make one though with some creative thinking.Find a v-6 buick.Plenty of them.Find one with a vac adv.Gut it,all you need is the housing,and vac adv,and shaft.Find a hei on v-8 with 4-pin moduale.You will need the wiring,the moduale,the pick up,the 8 point reluctor wheele,and assembly hrdware,snap ring,shims,felt lube wick,plastic wick cover,weights, rollpin.reassemble dist.Do not use any gear.If you have points dist,which you probably do or you would not be doing this,take your gear and drill the roll pin hole to fit your shaft you just got from boneyard.Assemble and install.Drops right in.For about 15 dollars.
