The 944 S2 Widebody Spyder Conversion included widebody quarters with an integral rear bumper and side skirts. The cabriolet top was permanently removed and a custom hard cover with "Speedster Humps" was designed to cover the rear seats and the area where the cabriolet top once resided and then molded into the quarters. Although Porsche never intended for this car to be a roadster, IFC Racing took an an aprroach that asked, "I wonder how Porsche would have designed this" while finalizing the details of their own design. The front of the car remained the same and stayed true to the original 944 S2 design. The goal was to transform my 944 S2 Cab into a sleek and aggressive looking "roadster" with a wider stance and a slightly updated appearance, while keeping its nostalgic appeal..... We wanted to create the feel of a "Concept Car" of the 1990s. A car that Porsche designed, but never built! I think that IFC Racing "Hit a Homerun"!

KONI COIL-OVER KIT (FRONT)
ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT A TRACK CAR, WE WANT TO IMPROVE THE HANDLING AND MAKE IT MORE FUN TO DRIVE. WE ARE CURRENTLY INSTALLING A COMPLETE FRONT AND REAR KONI COIL-OVER CONVERSION KIT WITH ADJUSTABLE RIDE HEIGHT BY PARAGON PRODUCTS. THE CONVERSION INCLUDES THREADED COLLARS, LOWER SPRING PERCHES(FOR RIDE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT), UPPER SPRING PERCHES, KONI COMPETITION BUMP RUBBERS, AND 200# HYPERCOIL SPRINGS IN THE FRONT AND 250# IN THE REAR. THE FRONT AND REAR SPRINGS WILL BE POWDERCOATED "RED". THESE PARTS ARE IN THE GARAGE AND READY TO BE INSTALLED.
AS SOON AS THE SUSPENSION UPGRADES ARE COMPLETE, WE WILL BE ADDING A MASS AIRFLOW SET UP WHICH WILL GIVE US A LITTLE "GO" TO MATCH THE "SHOW".
EXHAUST
WE WILL BE CHANGING OUT THE HEADERS TO THESE FACTORY HEADERS THAT HAVE BEEN CERAMIC COATED. WE ARE CURRENTLY RESEARCHING A NEW EXHAUST SYUSTEM THAT SOUNDS A LITTLE BETTER.
