Performance mods

May 2009

About march 2009, fooling around wif frens by reving the engines to almost top rpm and overrev... the engines started to having the terrible knocking sounds, thats the crankshaft started to wear, and the bearings seriously wears. But because of no budget of reparing, then i hv to keep using it altough its not in good conditions... until may 2009, finally got some budget and some budget support from my uncle (thanx a lot, uncle...) then ready to fix the engine.

once extract up all the engine, its too late to fix, cz the crankshaft already wear and the bar turned into eclipse shape. The piston were knocking up the head.

The only option we have is swapping to 4A-GE(exclude its gearbox). so we bought 1 and bring to the garage and start doing it.

This engine was really "Plug n Play" to the mounting and gearbox, but there's still a little different like air-intake and outlet were other way round, so the exhaust hv to change the directions.

And the clutch pump, were also other way round too, mine 3A-U(1.5) gearbox's cluthc pump were mounted at left, and the 4A-GE gearbox were mounted at right side, so now my clutch pump now end up keep staying beside the exhaust pipe, but already re-direct the pipe, wont be so close to the pump. or the safer way is, change the 4A-GE gearbox housing.

by the way, thanx a lot to "Bokku"(mechanic), and "Kai Lao"(wiring), without u, my car wont revive. ^^

next is the exhaust pipe and air-filter.

- "brandless" air-filter and elbow pipe. (so far so good la...can use also la...K&N too expensive la...next time la...)

- 2" iron pipe without silencer (cz running out of budget again T.T)

- twin muffler tips ("brandless" too la...)

We all find ourselves taking this wonderful game called Life too seriously at times. No matter what you or others experience in Life, recognize that we have all created experiences in our lives, that at one time or another, we considered tragic. All of this is your creation and you have created it, for a particular experience, remember to appreciate and experience every one of them. Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they've got a second. Give your dreams all you've got and you'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you. Great effort best ride dude. 5*
