KLZE BUILD PAGE

This page will be dedicated to my engine build/swap. It will contain everything, well mostly everything I want to do to the engine before I swap it in... parts, etc.. Stay tuned.

 

It looks as if I'll be getting it delivered by the end of December, early January. The list below is what I plan on installing, customizing.. it'll be updated regularly.

 

Engine Swap

JDM Straight Neck KLZE 2.5L DOHC V6 w/ Mazda VRIS

Experienced driver can get this engine stock in the 14sec. 1/4 mile.

Properly tuned with Bolt On's may net 13 sec. 1/4 mile times.

Higher compression 10:1

More agressive Cams

Different Intake Manifold design, Larger intake runners for more air flow.

Aspec KLDE 2.5L DOHC V6 w/ Mazda VRIS

Experienced driver can get this engine stock in the 15 sec. 1/4.

Properly tuned with Bolt On's may net 14 sec. 1/4 mile times.

Lower Compression 9:1

Less Agressive Cams

Different Intake Manifold, Neck is shorter which smaller intake runners, less air flow.

Haven't decided on tracking it yet. For now I am planning on a unique body kit and guess I'll go from there. Yeah, Mazda speed is a great source! Expensive but good... :)
