New pics are at the bottom!!!

This is my ride. It was given to me when i was 15. It's a 1977 Ford F-150 4x4 with a 351m, NP435 four speed and an NP205 T-case. The axles are a high pinion dana 44 up front, with a Ford 9" in the back with 3.50:1 gears. It's got 35x12.5 BFG's on 15x10 white spoke rims with no lift.

I have a 1971 ford 400 on the way for it. Flat topped pistons and a hotter cam and this thing will rip.

7/22/08 The orange hazard light now works. I spent practically all last night trying to get the stupid thing working again, after 13 years of no use. Had to rewire the thing, but it works like a charm.

7/31/08 Single output exhaust was severely split in many spots, so i just ripped it off where it meets. Now it has pipes coming off the manifold about a foot long.

8/4/08 The hazard light broke again.

8/16/08 I installed a set of air lift air bags inside the front coils. it sits level now with the bags, but that's probably because of the busted right rear leaf springs.

Bodywork will be getting done soon (hopefully) try and make it road worthy before school starts again.

Bodywork didn't get done before school... but i did get my 400!

11/27/08 picked up a set of 36x14.5 Interco Gumbos today for $100

They rub the fenders a little

Project Stalled until a warm weekend, fuel pump bad and 1/2 buried in a snobank.

2/9/09 Started the old pooch up... ran like crap, but i got it out of the snobank... will probably change oil, spark plugs, and do a rebuild on the carb, until i get the 400 in sometime in the spring or summer...

2/12/09 Changed Spark Plugs... 2 were fouled, but runs pretty good now... then i shut it off and tried to start it again and blew the starter. there's another $60 to be thrown at it :(

Still hafta get oil and carb rebuild for it.

2/15/09 Starter not problem... bad wiring, will fix eventually

2/16/09 Changed solenoid, but it wasnt the problem... bad battery cables... got it up and running, then ran out of gas :P

4/13/09 i dont remember when i got the carb cleaned out, but i did. also changed the oil (gallon of gas in it) got a fuel pump block off plate, and am planning on putting some sort of fuel injection on it, so stuff like that will be a lot less likely... also ran it today, ran good, didnt idle (carb needs tuning).

5/2/09 swingset dual exhaust!!! straight pipes... sounds soooo nasty (good nasty).

It also has brakes now (been cruisin' around w/o plates, just to borrow tools or haul farm stuff).

5/something/09 Blew rubber off carrier bearing, pinched tail pipe, and removed gigantic front bumper... i can finally take off on gravel in 2wd :D

6/3/09 Pulling truck apart for bodywork (new bed, floors, springs, etc.) probably gonna get mufflers b/c according to the people in my town, it sounds great, but too uncivilized... Heres the pics!

Can finally see the 77 grill again!

Paint's in pretty nice shape, but there are still rust issues...

Springs are looking pretty bad... they've been like that since i got it.

Classic '77 smile

6/9/09 Replaced broken spring and it leans forward again.

6/15/09 Ordered Skyjacker 4" lift coils for the front. gonna get 2" blocks for the back to keep that ass in the air. going to fab up a dual in dual out glasspack muffler/resonator for it to give it more of a growl than a scream.

6/19/09 Springs came in... making drop brackets myself. snapped off 2 bolts, but i'll get them out somehow...

7/5/09 Got the front put together (sorry it took so long, i could only work on this truck during the weekends) it will be taken back apart again in the near future, though. i need to make drop brackets for the radius arms and sway bar.

I think it makes quite a difference.

The truck ain't huge. I'm 5'11" and the hood isn't even up to my chin.

That's my 3 yr old brother Sam in the pic on the left, the right is my 87 ranger.

7/12/09 rerouted dual exhaust and added cherrybomb 10" glasspacks. it really took the crackle out of the exhaust, and it actually sounds pretty decent. the two tailpipes are closer together now.

9/6/09 bought cherry bomb turbos for it and put them on... it sounds civilized for once

the back is also getting a shackle flip... but progress slowed because i broke my nice hammer when i was beating the last rivet out on the left side

11/17/09 sorry i havent updated in a while... well, heres what went on: original bed, 33/12.50's, and a roll bar... and i got the shackle flip done

Hi there. I'm fairly new to this site. I'm loving the community here, so I want to contribute to everyone this article I read that really changed my life financially. Last week I got a check for $900! Really, no joke, I thought I couldn't do it myself, but I did. And it really helped me out my family financially because i'm a stay at home mom. But here's the article I read: http://www.news4show.com/finance/google-hiring-you.html hopefully it works out for you too. Good luck and God bless!

our trucks are very similar, except mine started out as a '76 thats how I have the 390fe, was the last year offered in light trucks. later it got a '77 body. my flat bed came of a toyota rock crawler,i widened it 12" ,made it 14" longer, and added fenders lights etc.... long beds hang up in the woods and mine started looking rough.plus the gas tank was in the very back so i put a fuel cell in the tool box which let me shorten the frame about 6 or 8 in.
