All corny monikers aside, my 740iL was simply costing me too much to keep on the road. At the beginning of the year I owed 8 grand on a car that needed more than that in service. I paid the car off and went car shopping. My two choices ended up being the MINI Cooper S or the 350Z Touring. After test driving both and being impressed by both, the 350 won out. I also had been staring at the brochure with the Grand Touring RAYS wheels so long that I couldn't see straight. My dealer sold this to me as a custom order for 36 grand. I had to wait 3 months because for some reason Nissan dealers just don't order the orange leather interior despite it being all over their ad brochures. My original color choice was carbon silver, however, I quickly changed my mind before ordering. I'm quite happy with the result. 306HP and a beautiful black metallic flake paint. I had a Mercury Cougar 99' as my first car before the 740 and it was also black. Below is a visual guide.
