UPDATE PAGE
Last time she was at the top of her game.

I thought it might be a good idea to make a page to keep track of progress made on the car.

Thanks for everyone that helped in the poll. I've weighed my options and I've decided to keep the car. The blown B20A will be replaced with a JDM B20A I found at osakajdmmotors.com. I'm going with the EFI version for a Si since my Ludes just a S. $950 shipped was the best deal I found so far. It's apparently a rare motor to find. Just have to find a place to have it swapped out.
Here's the old B20A dual carb motor that's in the Lude now.

I replaced the Bomz Intake pipe with a 45 degree pipe from Spectre Racing. now you can actually see the filter. I think it more visually appealing this way.

The EFI B20A is in route and the car is at the shop awaiting it's new powerplant.

The motor has arrived and is the process of being swapped out.

Out with the old....
SOHC dual carb garbage

And in with the new
DOHC EFI goodness

Just waiting for the headders, fuel pump, and some other Si specific parts to finish the job.
Official JDM style!

Found these cool decals for the window on Ebay.

The Heart of the beast

I figured since the motor will be out of the car might as well get new Chikara headders to replace the 20 year old stock ones.

I'm also replacing the front and rear upper and lower control arms. The bushings are terrible and they're in pretty bad shape, so they have to go. I also decided to upgrade from the stock shocks. Thanks to all the people on here with Preludes for all your help. got a set of Tokico HP shocks off Ebay. (god that sites gold for parts) Hopefully I'll get them and the headers together.

My Tokico HP's came in today. I'll be getting the suspension work done once the replacement control arms come in. I need to grab a set of drilled rotors and some ceramic pads too.

The parts keep coming. My headers are on deck. Should get the rest of my parts by the 20th.

Got the Si engine and interior wiring harness in on 09/19. The guys at Performance Workx wasted no time getting cracking. Hoping it'll be done by weeks end.

Found out that I needed specific line to connect to the fuel pump and I'm at a loss as to where to get the part from. Called a Honda dealer and they wanted $230! Why is it that dealerships try to rape you every chance they get? Guess I'll be shopping around.

Still no luck finding the fuel lines I need. Apparently they're discontinued parts and no one seems to have them. Will have to check salvage yards and try to get them from a junked car.

The search for the elusive fuel lines have been fruitless. No place has them and I can't even seem to find a junked Lude to get the parts from. I'm ready to just set the car on fire at this point lol!

Just got shipping confirmation that my steering wheel is in route. THANKS TC!!!

Steering wheel and hub arrive. MR-JDM ships super fast. Looks cool. God I love Ebay.

After about a week of ordering parts and being refunded because the parts were out of stock, I finnally managed to find a guy on Craig's List that had a 91 Si that he was parting out. He was able to pull the lines I need to connect to the fuel pump. So hopefully I'll have the parts by tomorrow and the car finished up by the the end of next week. Unless some other unexpected problem pops up. Keep your fingers crossed.

Honda parts number: 17707-sf1-936 and 17731-sf1-931. These are discontinued parts and a bitch to find.

After a couple weeks of inactivity due to decreased man power, Performance Workx is back on the job. Apparently there was noone to continue working on my ride due to some staffing issues they were having. (A couple people were fired I think) But that appears to be resolved and let them tell it, the car should be done shortly. Just in time for me to take the wheels off since it's beginning to snow here in good ol Western PA. All I can do now is sit and wait and pray that there are no other delays in the process.

The Ludes been sitting for months now and I have to get it out the shop it's in. Althought the cars about 80%, they don't have the manpower to work on it. Also do to poor business practices the place is down to 1 mechanic yet again. And will probably be closing down soon. So I'm not sure if this will be a project I'll be completing anytime soon. At least not this summer. I don't want to let the B20A and all those other goodies I got for it go to waste though; so I'm trying to look at a 89 Si I found on Craigslist for $400. It's a 5 speed with AWS :-)
I'm not sure what shape the body is in but my Lude is pretty solid. So it wouldn't be nothing to swap fenders bumpers etc. And since it's a Si I won't have to headache of hunting for this part and that part to convert the car over. It'll be just plug and play. If not I'll just have to store it.
