Engine work: 6/7/09
I decided to finish my timing chain replacement. I tore it down last fall and then had to haul the car to another place to store it. When i started this year the timing chain was already installed. From there I started to put the engine back together. The timing chain guide on the right side was broken because of it being a shitty plastic one. The new guide has a metel backer so this problem is now solved. As of now the engine is all together and ready to fire up. Only problem is a dead battery that won't take a charge.
New guide and timing chain installed.
Front of engine torn apart.
Everything at it's current state, put back together. Still need to install a Cold air intake. 6/7/09. Not bad for 4 hours of work to replace a timing chain.
