This is my new monster turbo off the car. New head, ready for cleansing and cams, fully custom turbo manifold because an aftermarket one won't situate the new turbo where I want it.

Engine bay before turbo and intake install, and old turbo setup w/ side mount intercooler and factory intake piping.

This system is comprised of:

-Polished Precision Power 60-1 turbo w/ stage II wheel(bad seals, decided to go NEW instead of a rebuild), soon to be Master Power 62-1 w/stage III .68A/R turbine blades
-One-off turbo manifold with 1" primaries and a twinscroll t4 flange
-One-off downpipe, 3" mandrel bent w/weld-in 02 bung for Mustang 02 sensor, also custom wired into wideband reader and RB harness
-HKS 50mm external wastegate w/6psi spring
-2.5" mandrel bent intercooler piping with temporary 12"x24"x2" intercooler
-HKS SSQV Bov
-Cat free 3" mandrel bent turbo-back exhaust.
-Z32 MAF and ignitor (not installed yet)
-Chipped VXROM Mine's tuned ECU
-A'pexi SAFC II controller
-Autometer A/F Ratio gauge (not installed yet)
-Fully custom wiring harness
-Greddy timing belt
-Twin Walbro 255's (one on constantly and one on switch)
-Sard 660CC injectors
-Full underhood wire tuck in progress
-KA24 fan drilled and modified to fit Skyline clutch to eliminate the need for electric fans, slight power loss, but extra cooling insurance in SC
-RB20 transmission
-Spec StageIII+ 6-puck sprung clutch
-Custom 1pc steel driveshaft
-R33 VLSD 4.1:1 differential w/5 bolt axles
-REAL N-1 muffler w/3" inlet and 4" burnt tip
---------------------------------------------------
-KYB GR-II charged struts, w/ Eibach 1.5" front and 1" rear lowering springs
-BSA Motorsports 17x7 7 spoke rims wrapped in staggered Kuhmo rubber
-No other chassis, or brake mods at this time besides all new polyurethane bushings, stock brakes, and custom front sway bar due to engine length and stance. Tein 16-way coilovers, Megan racing camber kits, and Greddy strut bars are hopefully very soon to come.

The setup puts down an untuned 308rwhp/274rwtq at 8psi. I have not run it in the quarter mile yet with the new turbo due to bad turbo seals, and am currently having it rebuilt. I will post tuned #'s with a dyno sheet, and quarter mile times as soon as I get everything finished and broken in.

-----07/17/08 Update: I turned nineteen today!!! The motor is done and will be going in the car this evening, and I will commence start-up and break-in procedures and tuning tomorrow morning. Will post new pictures and video between tonight and tomorrow night!!

-----07/13/08 Update: Due to setbacks, picked up the engine yesterday and started the basic teardown and rebuild. Turbo was placed on backorder again on the 10th, finally shipped today. All new gaskets and 11psi wastegate spring has already arrived. While waiting on turbo, engine bay and motor will recieve new parts and fresh paint, as well as the battery relocated and completion of the wire tuck. I have purchased black header wrap for the FMIC piping, the downpipe and possibly the turbo manifold.

-----07/02/08 Update: New motor going in this weekend, will post pictures documenting the install, start-up, and first few test runs of the car. Turbo has been back-ordered, should be here in the next two weeks.

I REALLY APPRECIATE ANY COMMENTS OR SUGGESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE, AND WILL NOT TAKE ANY FOR GRANTED. I AM NINETEEN YEARS OLD AND DID THE ENTIRE SWAP, TURBO SYSTEM, AND WIRING HARNESS MYSELF IN MY FRONT YARD. I DO ALL OF MY WORK, EXCEPT FOR EXHAUST AND PIPE BENDING. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT IN MY QUEST TO BUILD ONE BAD S13!!!!

lol yea no kidding, and i agree that would be the better choice of an engine. but iv been thinking about it alot lately and i think what im going to do is put just an sr20det in this car. then wait till i can afford another 240 and have it as a race car type thing, not sure on what type of racing it will be for but i will keep your information in mind! thank you again!
