Back in 2004, i have found this unit a Series II Morris Minor left by the owner in the car park of an apartment who has no interest in this vehicle anymore. It was sucessful of my approach in vainly trying to contact and persuade the owner to part with it. With much luck i bought the car for a mere $300 (MYR 1000).
Brought it back home and got it jacked up for closer inspection. Body was intact, so were the rare windscreen and traficator except the lense got worn out but the rear glass light and the front lights were broken.
So i did the necessary for the parts which could be sourced from the breakers and some parts waiting to be imported from London. I did the bodywork first and set a new coat of English White. The original colour was British Racing Green.
Now only work needed are to change the rear brake pump and do a complete engine overhaul....
