Build of my F2 Engine
I had to buy a new head, I couldnt find a used one where I live.

I am saving money for master rebuild kit, I am hoping to have it bored out 1.0mm over standard size.

Here are several pics of the F2 block before cleaning it.
I honed the cyclinders but they will get bored, I hear less is better for reliablility. So it will probably get bored .010 or .020 thousandths over std.

Pics of the block after cleaning it.
Its been vatted & bored to 86.51mm or .020 thousandths, the deck was surfaced they took off about .003 thousandths, the main caps have been line honed & the rods were resized.

Next to come will be the assymbly fo the F2 block.
Ok, its been so long since I took the dang thing apart I decided I better pre assymble some things and leave it togeth untill I get the cash I need to finish building the engine.
So here are some pics of the engine pre-assymbled.
My garage is a freaking mess as you can see.

Issues with header:
I had issues with fitment of the Pacesetter header, there was not enough clearance for the collector. It was pressed right against the bracket that bolts to the auto transmission and the block.

After some bending of the header and grinding on the bracket, I made it fit. I ended up bending it away from the bracket a little more.

07/21/09 update:
Many many months later I have the engine installed and running. I ended up getting a Holley 5200, it's just like the Weber DFEV 32/36.
I had to order new jets for it. The truck was not running well at all with the jets it had in it. I went with the stock jets etc. used on the DFEV 32/36 that Weber sells for the B2200.
I will post some pictures of the engine installed and a video of the engine running at a later date.
