Bought this 66 coupe in December 07. Had a 200 w/ 3-peed. Sold that. Now I have a 306 and a t-5. GT-40 heads. Edelbrock 600 CFM 4 barrel carb, edelbrock performer intake. Ford racing King Cobra clutch. All of this is waiting to go in. Right now I am picking it apart to send it to be sand blasted. It is going to need all new body panels. Doors, hood, and deck lid are good. I need a new rearend (right now it has a 7.5 with a 180 or 200 gear.) I would like at least an eight, but maybe a nine with a 355, 373, or 410 gear.
I am saving for a full suspension and steering upgrade and front disc brakes. Rear discs would be ok if they come with the rear end. I want to go five lug to give myself more options on wheels.
I've already put a lot of money in it. But in a year or two, I'll have it done. Can't wait.
