UPDATE: 4/01/08
The car is running fantastic right now. at the track I ran a 14 flat at 97 at best with a 2 sec flat 60 foot. I know not terribly impressive but considering at the time i had been driving the car for 24 hours im not too dissapointed. Im currently on the hunt for a oem sti top mount and then possibly im going to buy a short shifter and new shift knob and a carbon fiber exhaust heat shield. Also some brakes are in the works. But well see how all my graduation money comes together and everything. Thanks to those who wrote in the guest book!
UPDATE: 6/16/08
I ended up not deciding on the lug nuts and short shifter and im ordering a CSS top mount intercooler upgrade kit and mud flaps.

UPDATE: 6/24/08
I finally recieved my rally armor mudflaps. I decided to go with the ur series which is the flexible polyurethane model and chose the blue logo to offset the silver and play off the blue on the car already.

UPDATE: 6/30/08
I picked up my sti intercooler yesterday for a STEAL. $100 with silicon connectors and everything!

today I ordered my jdm sti hood scoop and a zerosports air splitter also to match the intercooler. im thinking that this weekend i can have everything on and get it ready for next weeks car show.
UPDATE: 7/5/08
The hood scoop came today from fed ex and it is gonna look great on the car after i get it painted.

UPDATE: 7/11/08
everything is finally on! i got back yesterday from my wsu orientation so i had time to grab the hoodscoop from the paint shop and get everything on. the intercooler fit perfectally and for anyone who is planning the swap it only took around 45 minutes and only required a few hand tools. also make sure to buy the sti hood scoop for the 02-03 specifically. its a bolt in and looks great without looking too big or eye catching.

UPDATE: 7/19/08
Painted my headlights and i personally love them. it gives the car a more menacing look, and thats pretty difficult with bug eyes. the headlight and scoop combo really changed the look of the front end of the car.

UPDATE: 10/11/2008
Made my best pass of the 1/4 mile to date.
13.745 @ 98.54 mph. im so excited. i was at 13.9s and 8s for too long.
UPDATE: 10/21/2008
More parts will be here shortly. Kartboy short shifter, cobb radiator shroud, momo/subaru shift knob, and a rallitek front license plate delete. Will be ordering these by early next week.
UPDATE: 10/27/2008
Momo knob came today

I will be installing it when i get my short shifter wednesday. the front plate delete comes tomorrow. Ill have pics of that when its on and pics of everything hopefully by the end of the weekend.
UPDATE: 10/28/2008
Front Plate Delete got here from UPS

I was just a little tired of the boring and ugly holes from taking off my front plate. i think this looks very nice now. Tomorrow my other parts come!
UPDATE - 10/29/2008
Good lord I love my shifter now. It seriously makes shifting a joy now. If you do not have this mod, then I highly recommend it. I got mine for $99 from gruppe-s, along with their bushings (the package saves about $30). But anyways, my throws have been greatly reduced, as well as the shifter height, so it looks sportier and makes the car feel even more like the sports car it is.

I also installed the cobb radiator shroud, which i have to say looks really cool and im always a fan of cool underhood goodies. Im starting to try and get a blue theme for under the hood.

UPDATE: 12/8/2008
My car however is going back into the dealership to replace the idle air control valve as it went bad on me.
UPDATE: 12/10/2008
It seems that because the hoses from the throttle body were disconnected, the valve froze because of the extreme cold got stuck. After driving with the hoses back on for about 15 mins, the valve got unstuck and it went back to normal. After a reflash of the ecu, everything was perfect again!
UPDATE: 12/25/2008
Well merry christmas everyone. I hope you all had a great holliday. I know that I did. I had another unexpected loss in the form of a broken skid plate. It finally lost to the battle of a foot and a half of ice and snow on the ground. I put in an order to Primitive Racing in Tigard, OR today for their 3/16 skidplate customized to clear my header. Also I gave a call to Rally Sport Direct for the Cobb Front and Rear Swaybar Kit. They were having a 10% off all Cobb products :D I'll be picking the plate up monday afternoon and the swaybars ship out monday from Salt Lake. So they'll be here soon. :]
UPDATE: 12/30/2008
I got the skidplate on Monday but the front is way lower than I thought so I am gonna take it back to Paul at Primitive Enterprises and get the front spacers adjusted a little bit. But I totally will throw out that Paul does great work and is great to deal with. Prices are fair and the product is amazing. (Plus he game me cool stickers and a wicked poster) The sway bars are almost here actually. Im really excited to get those on actually. No more understeer!
UPDATE: 1/2/2009
Sway-bars got here today, installing sunday! Pictures of both parts are coming soon!
UPDATE: 1/4/2009
Sway-bars went on today. The difference is ridiculous. With crap snow tires I can even feel the difference in body roll and how the car tucks into corners. I cant wait for the snow to melt so I can get my nice wheels and tires back on.

UPDATE: 2/11/09
My brother picked my shift knob from rallitek today because im still not home yet. Ill be back this weekend though so ill be able to get some pics of the knob on. Also on monday I am getting my car tuned by Tim Bailey at Surgeline. Im very excited about that. Ill post some videos and the dyno sheets after i have it done!

UPDATE: 2/16/09
I just got back to the house so i will be able to upload my pics of the cobb knob and also some dyno tune pics including my sheet. i dynod at 246 hp and 257 lb/ft to the wheels on a mustang dyno (which read lower than normal). This was achieved by peaking at 16.8 psi and on 92 WA pump gas. Be sure to check back in march when i take her to the track and set a real time ;]

UPDATE: 6/19/09
Man its been a while since I updated the page. Well I'll have to get some new pics up soon then. I just changed my sparkplugs, did and oil/filter change, installed a kartboy rear shifter bushing, am picking up a cobb short shifter tomrorow, and painted my rear tow hook, fluid caps, and brake calipers. Haha so alot has been going on. The caps are interesting, cause I was bored with the yellow in my engine bay, so I spray painted them black, and used a blue paint pen to paint the writing, so everything looks nice and clean now. And finally no more red brake calipers! They're all black now too, which gives the car a nice, cleaner look. The shifter bushing also helps nicely with the notchy-ness of the shifter, and giving it a more solid, connected feel. I cant wait to get my cobb shifter in! I will try to get some pictures up soon cause I have slacked off so much lately.
UPDATE: 6/30/09
Finally I can get some pictures of what has been going on these last few months. First off, I GOT MY CAR SIGNED. Not by just 1 person, but all 3 drivers of Subaru's USA Rally Team. I met and hung out with Ken Block, Travis Pastrana, and Dave Mirra before their first stages of day 2 of the Oregon Trail Rally. They are all really nice guys and really cool to talk and hang out with.

After that, I was able to pick up the OEM bumper trim and also some black caliper paint. First about the bumper trim, I think it gives a little more detail to a rather plain back, and I got it mostly to cover a large scratch from loading stuff in the back of my hatch. Talk about killing 2 birds with 1 stone, protect from future scratches as well as cover an existing one. I hated my red calipers. They didn't match my car at all, and finally my whole exterior is tied together. It also hides brake pad dust alot better too ;)
