The car is a 1982 "S" that was converted by Strosek in 1999. That conversion included engine, suspension, brakes, body and wheels. In 2006, the engine was further fettled by Porsheworx (in England), using parts from a fast road use GTS that had crashed! After the Porsheworx mods, the car now produces c. 400 bhp but is still tractable enough for road use.
Suspension remains Strosek.

Great looking 928.Mine was manufactured by Strosek in 1981-Original.We should get our two cars together sometime as I'm only down the M20 from you..Keep it the same colour or maybe black..Guards red would make our cars too alike..Regards Clive. PS gave you 5 stars of course.

Thanks for the comments. Actually, 82landshark, I've been contemplating having "The Beast" painted Guards Red. However, the metallic turquoise was the colour when it was raced in Europe in the mid 80's. Eventually the car was converted back to road-going in the late 80's. Admittedly, the Strosek body wasn't on the car at that time.....but it's still the original racing colour. So, should I keep originality or go for the Guards Red? As at matter of fact, I'm not keen on metallic turquoise!! Comments please. Thanks.
