So I bought this car from a friend of mine. i had seen what it looked like before it was blue it wasn't bad. i saw the two following pics, said ok i'll buy it. $500 not bad right. well he brings it to my work, and it has no windshield, no carpet, no center console , bald ass tires, tie rods were shot, no motor no trans. oh yeah and he flat towed it with no axles in the hubs so they seperated. Fun!
i began work on it that saturday.(had to wait to use the shop.) swapped out the struts, control arms, spindles, rotors, calipers, new rear hardware, rack & tie rods, motor and trans, hell of a day!!
Where I'm at now:
I got both door poppers installed.
swapped carpet, center console, rear interior trim(he painted everything), and dash for previous reason. I finally got the electrical sorted out. and have begun the transformation from smurf blue to a cherry mettalic.
lots of work.
