Another kgmnman 1978 Jeep CJ5 post...

Love at first sight, needs lots of TLC, but it's what I have been looking for. With the 258 IL6 and the Carter 1 bbl Carb (That carb has to go). The 258 is a good power plant for the jeep. Right after I got Her the carter Carb started leaking fuel. ( like I said it had to go)Ordered a EMPI 2 bbl Carb ($350) Got the Tiger top from Best top $650 ,Also have doors just not on the jeep right now new tires ( Uniroyel A/T ) And she looks good TOPLESS-->

Another kgmnman 1978 Jeep CJ5 post...

Her is the 258 as of 5/26/08 still needs cleaning. new EMPI carb new Distr/coil/Fuel pump/ and a 135 amp alt. looking into Intake and exaust etc had house carpet inside, took that out added the center consol. Going to coat the floor and underside and looking into custum dash. First pic taken with the doors on. body stright some rust nothing bad. Over all she's a good solid ride, runs good 4x4 works all lights and gauges work.update soon with more work or mods. Tell me what you think of my Jeep, Thank you for looking.
