This is my 85 Fiero Gt. I am the second owner and have been slowly restoring/adding too it.  I'm kind of in a holding pattern on it right now. I'm waiting to find out when I'm leaving for Air Force basic training and where I'll be stationed. If I'm going over-seas; then it's getting a S/C 3800 engine swap while I can't drive it.  I have a few other things in the works right now, just no money to do them.

Work done so far:

Pioneer Head-Unit

Pioneer 4x10 Dash Speakers

Sprint Headers

Stainless  Cat-Eliminator

Ocelot Exhaust

K&M Funnel Ram Intake

Intrax Lowering Springs (1.8" Front 1.7" Rear)

Stage II Clutch

nice car. it looks really good. 5*****. i seen that you might have been talking forced induction. that would be killer on a car like that. i would try sts turbo.

when i say minor problems i just mean things that were easily fixed: engine bay was getting to hot which would have bothered my wiring so i just wrapped my cat and that helped out a lot, shift linkage was not perfect so i had to make a custom weld, as with the dogbone bracket. like i said just a few minor things. my mechanical abilities on a scale of 1-10 may be a 6 and the project was so easy that i wouldn't hesitate to do it again. especially when you talk about going form about 130-140hp (on a good day) to at least 260hp (on a bad day) and it is still a daily driver. about 6k miles since the swap.

i have had no problems with it all not one single thing and ive had drove it like i stold it dude trust me the 4.9 is the way to go non expencive and the expression on peoples face when they hear the v8 rummblin is priceless think about it what seems more attractive a v6 sc or stuffing a v8 in the back of ur small fiero when u rev the v8 u will not regret it and performance is very simmilar to the 3800sc and if u bore the cilendrs and put another cam u will have serious performance

nice car man, heard you were thinking of swapping in a 3800 SC and wondering about a 5spd tranny. check out my car with the completed swap and now its about a year or two later and i have only had minor problems.
