Hi, my name's Courtney (Car Girl!), I'm 22 and live in Lebanon, NH. This is my 2nd tC (First had a 2006 Flint Mica tC) but fell in love with the Black Sand Pearl. I purchased this car May 24th, 2008 as an early birthday present to myself. Manual transmission, totally stock when I picked it up. This page is an overview of the work which has been done, starting with it stock to the newer upgrades lower on the page. Please feel free to leave me feedback on my tC with suggestions and overall comments and check back often for updates - they happen all the time! YES, IT'S A GIRLS CAR. NO, THERE IS NO DAMN PINK ON IT!

First picture taken at the dealership, and ODO with 4 miles on it! I had them put the stock wheels on my 06' so I could keep my Konig rims.

5.25.2008: Haven't even had the car 24hrs and I've already done a bit of work in it. I installed the tC LUND Door Sills, OBX pedals, and OBX Mesh shift knob.

Also tinted the 2 rear and rear windshield 35% (the darkest you can go in NH - thank you Erik <3 for your awesome job, best tinting you've done so far!) 7" Shorty Antenna also put back on and OEM mud flaps installed.

I put my TRD radiator cap on, reinstalleld my GReddy sway bar, Dr. Isotope Radiator cover, and Carbon Fiber valve cover. Also shows my Custom Painted Dipstick Handle, Custom Painted Power Steering Fluid Cover, Custom Painted Windsheild Washer Fluid Cover, Custom Painted Brake Fluid Cover, and Custom Painted Positive Terminal Cover.

I painted the brake calipers black and left some sections silver (going for a black and silver theme) Ordered tC caliper decals from CustomtC.com

Reinstalled my Megan Racing Axleback.


Registered my car and got my new tags. Goodbye FREKSHO (which I've had on my 94' Ford Tauraus, 01' Hyundai Accent and 06' Scion tC) and hello BABYDTC
5.31: Installed my full LED third brake light from Oznium.com. I decided to get the red one to match the tails. I think it looks pretty damn sexy!

Also installed the debaged front grille. The 08' Scion grille was a little funky looking...(2nd pic with Solobaric badge)

6.1: Got my tC dead pedal in the mail yesterday (SO PEOPLE WILL STOP ASKING - SCIONPRO.COM ^_^), plus my Redline Tuning hood lift.

My Dad got me the rivet gun for my birthday, and I got to use it!

6.3 Happy Birthday to me! I painted my front lip of my RS1 lip kit. Can't wait to see it on, but I have to think of how I want to mount it where it won't scratch the paint like it did on my 06'.

Plates came in. I'm not a fan of the front mounted position, but when I get my foglights, I will move the plate to the middle, but for now it's just chillin'...

6.16 Key Techniques keyhole plugs. Cheap little upgrade, but I think they look pretty sweet.

6.28 Crossed over to 1,000 miles. Not new anymore :)

7.18: My Clazzio seats came in, and I installed them same day. Mild pain in the ass! But I think they really look great.

7.20: Short throw shifter came in and I installed it. The shifter is about 1.5inches shorter and the throw is MUCH shorter. I uploaded a video of myself going through the gears.



7.26: Installed my new Leather boots.

Also painted my header shield black. I think I've decided to go with the black Injen intake. Should look good once it's all together.



8.9: Grappone Scion Show 3rd Place Audio/Video & 3rd Place Performance (pictures on page 4!!)

8.14: Installed my Injen CAI. I think I'm going to keep it as SR, the winters are crazy here and I'd rather not deal with switching it back and forth. Very easy install and sounds AWESOME. I haven't reinstalled my strut bar yet until after the springs have been installed.


8.14: The TRD springs arrived! Lorrie is such a sweety to offer these to me... but the install is going to have to wait a bit until my cash flow evens out again! Can't wait!! Bye Bye Wheel Gap!

8.17: Repainted my silver pieces of the interior to a black sparkle. A little girly, but looks really nice and transformed my interior.
