I had started the swap has of 3-18-09 and finished with it running 3-24-09. I thought it would be done sooner and it should have been. I was trying to get it to start for 2 1/2 days. But, when you forget to install the rocker arms, you kind of deserve it.

this is getting ready to install the head.

this is the head getting the final torque. I thought this would be the hardest because the torque. But, it wasn't bad at all

Her are a couple of views of the old coming out. The motors are both salvaged, this one ran like crap. I don't know if it had burnt valves or what. It was either slow or in the gas. There was no in between on the throttle.

This is were I had forgot to install the rockers before I put the cover on. I guess I didn't have to worry about valve hitting the pistons.

The motor on the hoist ready fo tranny mount wich to another day. I thought i had it lined up right but, it wasn't. I had to pry them back apart. the second time it slip in nicely.

The first sign of a rainbow.

It is now all bolted in and ready for the finish. I still have alot to do. I need to install intercooler, oil cooler for turbo, fuel system, and all the charge pipe. It was late and no pics were takin.

It is done and runs. I just can't get it that fast yet. I don't want to accidently break the break in.
