THE INTRO OF THE 96 BLAZER

AND FIRE DEPT./4X4 PICS....

      Yeah, I have a '96 S-10 Blazer. I got MAY, 20 2008 with 213,000 miles for $1,300.00 when I got it NOW as of  NOV, 15 2008 and it got over 220,000 miles on it..... I've already done as many mods as I have been able to do with the money I woud have after monthley bills. I have also had to do quite a few repairs cause it is a '96, and parts wear and tear. This is my seventh car, and first suv I ever owned I would never want to give it up. I always wanted a blazer. My blazer came with a stereo system dual audio. (need to be replaced the box is damaged) new tires andfull tank of gas with gas prices today at $4.00 a gallon..thats rare to get.... Some of the mods I did include:
a few decals 6000K PIAA /5000k Apc light bulbs,3 sets of off road lights 2 on the roof and 4 on the bumper made by blazer baja lighting and navagator with H3-PIAA bulbs swap to replace the stock lighting witch I highley recamend because PIAA is top of the market in lighting..BFGoodRich all terrain tires, Optx Neo Blue Interior neon, Sony Xplod head unit powering off a 2,000 watt Pyle Dryver anp with a custom built sub box that that my cusin built and holds 2-10" and 2-12" subs A custom painted black grile,rims, red brake drums and calipers and under carige.. andfan cover throttle body cover along with red wiring covers.. 
this blazer is equiped with emergency vehicle lights and decals..cobra cb radio with 2 whip antennas scanner/radio with pa.system and 2 function siren.. and is used as my own command unit when on MVA call in the state of New Jersey and is used on calls in PENNSYLVANIA as a normal firefighter vechiel.. lights and no sirens...
the only reason why I never did want an suv..
because they're top heavy. AND .63 percent of all SUV deaths were in rollovers. IN 2007

 THIS IS A MULTIPURPOSE PASSENGER VEHICLE WITCH HANDLES AND ,MANEUVERS DIFFERENTLY FROM A ORDINARY PASSENGER CAR. IN DRIVING CONDITIONS WITCH MAY OCCUR ON STREET,HIGHWAYS OR OFF ROAD

WITH OTHER VEHICLES OF THIS TYPE IF YOU MAKE SHARP  TURNS OR ABRUPT MANEUVERS THE VEHICLE MAY ROLL OVER ,GO OUT OF CONTROL AND CRASH..  THIS IS A EXAMPLE FOR THE PIC BELOW..AND THE STICKER IN MY BLAZER.

 

 I know it had to roll at least three times, but dont remember.  The truck ended upside down and the engine was still running. and stereo still kicking loud,, I only remember one big hit.and the sound of twisted metal and shatering glass.

 

tho being in this rollover that my cuzin and I have benn involved in..dose not fear me to have an suv.. its just the driver... and now if he rides with me he hate's my driving as well I with his...

Before I got the blazer I did have a 93 chevy s10 that I had many plans for until on my way home I swerved to miss a DAMN deer and ended up going off the road hit a large puddle then cought the road and went across down in to a ditch into a pile of rocks at 50-60 mph... wrecked.. but after the crash I drove the truck around all smashed up' and sold it for $500.00 i could of fixed the truck FOR $8,000 but from the force of inpact i bent/broke welds in the frame in 2 spots..  u look at the front and see the driver side is 7" higher then the passenger side and the rear the passenger side is lifted 6.3/4" high then the driver side so that tells the frame was badley bent and the driver side control arm was bent out of shape so i was able to bend it enough to driveit for a wile THO it's a chevy i still ran and drove even hiting a rock wall 4-5ft high lets see a Ford do that..lol

Sad thing is I only had my 93 s10 for a month before i wrecked it..

I hit A puddle  and went across the road..   I landed in  the ditch ..
AND wecked the s10 on RT 447 by alpine ski area..
bought  april 4 08 and wrecked may 4 08..
(the Danger zone)lucky there were no cars coming when i went over the dubble yellow..====and to this day I still cant beleave it....

SEPT-11-08       1996 CHEVY BLAZER LS 4X4 4-SALE

BECAUSE IM SPENDING MORE MONEY IN FIXING MY  96 BLAZER THEN CUSTOMIZING CANT AFORD THE INSURANCE ON  IT SO IM SELING IT FOR $700.00 -OBO AND THE BOOK VALUE IS $2,879.00 WHY IM ASKING IS BECAUSE IT  ALMOST HAS 220,000 MILES AND THERE IS NO A/C...AND THE CLUTCH IN THE TRANS IS GOING ITS A 4SPEED AUTO. BUT 1ST AND 4TH GEAR DOES NOT WORK THE TRUCK STARTS OFF IN 2ND GEAR WHEN STOPED.. IM ICLUDING A NEW SONY CD PLAYER, SUB/AMP READY WIREING ,ALL THE LIGHTS ON ROOF AND BUMPER ARE INCLUDED JUST NOT INCLUDED IS ..SUBBOX/AMP..OR CB.. THESE ARE THE MILES ON IT AS OF SEPT 14 -O8 BUT I STILL DRIVE THE BLAZER THATS WHY I SAY THERE ARE 220,000 ON IT,,,NOT YET.....
