Thanks everyone for viewing and rating.  I'll make you a deal, you keep rating my ride, and I'll try to keep updating it.

Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing the "Double 0 Carlo" -- a sweepingly elegant combination of aesthetic beauty and performance.

This is the nicest car I have owned so far. In three months I have gone from a 1988 Chevrolet Celebrity to a 1993 Ford Bronco to a 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

The MC now houses my Pioneer DEH - 6800MP headunit and iPod interface adapter. Honestly, I have installed many stereos in many cars and this one was the most pain in the ass install ever. GM interface adapter?! No thanks -- I relocated the stock headunit to the trunk by extending the power and data wires myself. Lastly, I dropped my dual ported custom enclosure and Pioneer Premier DVC-SPL sub in the trunk.

Check out my current pictures and let me know what you think. If you have a similar MC, let me know how you like it and any tips you might have for care/performance.

My future plans for the car include standard maintance with some consmetic upgrades including LED lighting, intake and exhuast, and possibly 1" lowering springs. I learned a valuable lesson with my previous vehicles and that is that cars can become money pits if you let them. I'm going to take it easy.

Interior:

You can see the Pioneer unit fits perfectly in the dash with enough room to fit my Pioneer iPod Interface Adapter behind it. It is extremely convenient to have the storage space below the headunit to put the iPod in. I even customized this space with black felt on the interior.

I had to put a switch on the ACC wire for the Pioneer headunit. I guess it wasn't getting the message to turn off from the car's computer. But, the switch works great and I installed extras for future upgrades.

Engine:

The engine in this car runs smooth and clean. It burns no oil, despite having just over 100k miles on it. I keep the oil changed regularly with Lucas Oil Stabilizer -- highly recommended.

Check back again for future updates. Thank's for stopping by.

 Updates!!!

I recently added a set of high performance driving lights and personal decals.  If Jack Roush can slap his name on cars that aren't his, surely I can put my name on my own car.
