April 6th 2012.
ok so my newest update on Fantasma.
So after repairing all the damage done on the suspension last year i got to driving her only to in one day have the #1 rod bearing spin on me. Needless to say I was very down and upset. I was gonna just opt for a jdm engine and drop it in but a little retard I know and work with told me "We can rebuild the engine if you get the parts". Reluctantly I went with it and then he backs out of helping it and im having to do this whole rebuild never having taken a single engine apart. Boy the fun i learned on how much engineering went into this engine. (o_O) Thanks nissan for making a brain fucker of a engine before other companies realized what you done.
enough talking my post on my recent progression into this brain screw of a rebuild never having done any engine before this.
(Bare with me as I continue to work on making order to all the pictures I have since I begin just so much to upload to be able to show the progression.)
May 5th 2012.
So apon fire up and getting over to the exhaust shop and sealing up the little leaks the collector still had. I came to realize the engine wasnt running correctly, I was experiencing Hydraulic lifter ticking. So I went out and got a complete set of 24 brand new hydraulic lifters to just delete any future chances of lifter noise. Tomorrow I will be taking the car back over to my garage space and getting all the old lifters removed and new ones installed.
