MITSUBISHI FTO 2LTR V6 24VALVE

Hiya this is the new edition to the family,Dorris is a 2ltr,24 valve, v6, gr,in metalic blue, she just cost me 2000 pounds, but doe's need a bit of work,It needs the rims sanding down and repainting,i was thinking of spraying them white, and it also needs a good t-cut and wax,The exhaust is blowing a bit so that will need fixing,But all the panels are straight and the engine is strong,so it will be sexy when its finished.

Word of warning- if the tappet's stat to get noisey, its time to get rid,as each individual tappet (so i was told) was going to be 45 each to fix,and theres 24 of them, also because of the way the fto's engine is placed 12 of the tappets are very hard to access so most of the engine has to come out,so if you could manage to find a garage that would be willing to do the work it would cost thousands.....and thats why i got rid of this fto.

Thanks for the comments on my Firebird. They are great cars, even though the rear axle is fixed instead of independent rear suspension they handle REALLY well for an experienced driver. They are indeed a blast to drive, and my favorite are the 3.4 Litre V6's which I upgrade to posi trac/disc rears, because they sip petrol but still scream down the track and even make good daily drivers. I'm impressed with your FTO, very nice ride mate... you got a lot for 2000, beautiful shape and in a great color.

nice ride ;) i got my silver interior from america, but the company also used ebay,,very easy to install, also changed dials from kmc and just got aluminium dash surround, these lil differences make a big difference in the long run. just didnt buy the aluminium covers for the needles as 40 for a few circles is a rip off and i prefer it witout,,,may be too much with
