My 2003 Subaru WRX is for sale. Thanks for all the comments but I need to get rid of my debt since I'm saving for a house now. Here's a pic of my new car. It's a 1993 Acura Legend LS Coupe.
My system from the WRX has been removed and is now in the Legend. The only change is in the rear-deck speakers. The WRX had 4" door speakers and this Legend has 6x9 rear-deck speakers. Also the Legend stock headunit was horrible so I had to get a new head unit.
I'm having a problem fitting the 6x9's in the rear deck. Here's a pic of the Infinity kappa i'm trying to fit. It's a pretty big 6x9 as far as the depth of the magnet area goes goes.
Here's a pic of the hole it has to go in. The stock speakers were little 2-way Bose speakers with seperate rear tweeters.
Unfortunately my new Kappas don't want to fit without a fight. I'm trying to figure out what to do right now. I might go with a spacer to maybe raise the speaker so it fits, but then the install won't be clean. I might have to cut if there's no way I can do it with a spacer.
I got the 6x9's in. I had to cut up the metal a little but they fit fine now. I'll post pics later.
Old pics of the WRX are on page 2, though it has been modified since the pictures.
