My engine in my 4runner got damaged. Basically my enging block cracked while driving and all the oil spilled out so I am needing a new motor. Also less than a week after this theives realised the vehicle was not moving anymore and broke in and stole all my tvs amps subs and everything else they could damage while trying to rip me off. They cut all the wires for the monitors making them useles in the process. They even went as far as stealing my A-pillar with the guages in them. This just broke my spirit as far as repairing the car is concerned because I'm sure I will have electrical issues when I finally get enough money to put it back together. On this note I have been debating whether to junk the vehicle and get another or fix it. Fortunately the theives left my computer I had built even thought they damaged the touchscreen trying to pull it out of the dash. I still have my Strobe Lights (official Whelen Brand)in the parking lights, turn signals, and tailights. I am really attached to this vehicle and hoping one day I can rebuild it to be better. It has been over a year now. The only good thing is the fact that it has a good solid body and my paint job is still in great shape as the car has been parked in a garage since then and I also purchased a car cover for it. It had been taken care of so the transmission is in good condition, new radiator and exhaust,seats redone as you can see on my pages.
So till I make up my mind what to do I am just holding on to it as I have put a lot of my earnings into this car. Unfortunately about 3 days before I damaged the engine I had spent 800 dollars on a magnaflow exhaust system. Doesn't that scuk. If the engine had given a sign I could have spent that towards a fixing the engine.

Hello all you car domain members out there.
This page is dedicated to my Toyota 4Runner and will show the details of my ever evolving project as I gradually upgrade my vehicle and add mods to it
My goal is to have one of the best in-car entertainment system out there. My system will ultimately consist of a computer running the most current windows operating system.and capable of running all windows programs, a GPS, winamp (for all mp3s), a dvd player and a PS2 or Xbox. There will also be a built in rear view and security camera hooked up to the alarm system.
So far these are my plans and I will endeavor to take you along as I put together the system for this car or my next one in the near future.

Been busy so I did not have time to update my page. As of today I have installed HID headlights, put two cameras on my side miirrors, and added a 9" monitor and a 7" touchscreen monitor in my dashboard among others. On a sad note ny XBOX and PS2 were both stolen from the car so I will be looking to get another. I have since installed a DEI Viper 790XV alarm system with responder technology to combat thieves. As an added measure I put Whelen 6 light strobe kit in my headlights and taillights. These are the same strobe kits found on the police cars and so far it has worked very well . There have beeen 4 attempts that I know of by thieves to break into my car but when my air horn goes off and the 90w strobes start flashing, they leave.
I also upgraded my audio system by replacing my stock HU with a pioneer HU and aded 2 crunch amps and 2 12" subs. I actually have 4 12" subs and I am looking to have a custom enclosure built to house them. I also replaced all audio wiring in the car with crunch cables for the audio signal and monstor cables for the video signal

Problems with vacuum hoses. Thinking of switching back to the old tubes.
Installed neon uderbody kit on Sunday after work. Looks neat.

Painted parts of engine today. I want to get an K&N intake but I heard conflicting stories about it. Some say it decreases horsepower when it should be increasing it. Also I am torn between getting an optima red top or a yellow top. The red top matches my engine but the yellow top has more power and I really do not want to sacrifice looks for power. What do you guys think? Please respond in my guest book.

Installed LED side markers and new alarm LEDS in my clear corners. I decided to do away with the blue LED in my parking lights and go with red instead. I'm trying to stick to one theme.

Went to the New York Auto Show today. Took some pictures. My camcorder baterry died so I got no video. Boy was I mad. I forgot and left it on during the drive to New York and to top it off I left the charger home. That was real dumb of me. I will load the pics soon.

Installed my clear corner lenses today.
Do not like my carbon fiber dash kit. I am thinking of changing it but my mind is not made up. Edit: Took it off

Bought clear corner lenses. Started Installation of Carbon Fiber Dash Kit. Had to go to work and I will continue later when I have the time.

Bought new batery. Installed Monster battery cables to battery posts

Changed all vacuum hoses to red. I'm trying to add some color to my engine compartment's interior

MAN I KNO HOW U FEEL 6 HOURS BEFORE I LEFT FOR COLLEGE SOMEONE BROKE INTO MY 4-RUNNER AND STOLE MY AMP I HOPE THAT ASSHOLE BURNS INHELL REBUILD IT GUY BECAUSE I TOO HAVE MUCH LOVE FOR MY RUNNER I SAW YOUR BEFORE I GOT MINE AND YOURS INSIPRED ME TO DO THE SAME BY THE WAY THANKS.
