July 23,2008 I got into an accident. Ran a red light && hit a dump truck, heh. I was REALLLLLY lucky though. All that happened was it ripped my bumber and headlights off and it buckled my hood a little bit. The third and fourth pictures are where the lugnut from the dump truck gouged my hood. =( I was soo sad, lol. My first car, first accident, first ticket. Guess there is truth behind the saying "There is a first time for everything!"
After my accident, I looked on craigslist and ebay for hoods. I found a local sellet on craigslist selling the RKSport hood, so we drove up there and picked it up. It's still not painted, but I'm working on that. Haha. Replaced my bumper as well, and there is a gap, I'm aware of it. It's because my impact strip got damaged in the accident and I can't afford a new one right now. Also added in some clear corner lenses while the bumper was off.
I've decided to take my spoiler off. Here's some pics shot with it off. Gotta wait til it's warmer outside to actually take it off so we can do the body filler. Hopefully we'll be knocking out the dents going along the side of my car.
Just changed out my stock interior speakers to Pioneer 5 1/4" in the front doors and 6 X 8 in the rear. Putting a Pioneer amp in this week. 760 2 channel. Just bought a Pioneer DEH2000 head unit and put it in. It's an older model, but I'm happy with it. I'm putting my Sony 15 back along with another custom box. Pictures will be up as soon as it's done.
