Just purchased the car last fall, the mileage is decent (95k)and the car runs amazing! It's way too much fun to drive this baby with the thundering v8 under the hood! Although, since I started driving the car I have been pulled over a couple too many times. Right now I am in the process of redoing the interior in the car. Like any older land shark the leather was cracked and it wasn't too pretty. If you have any suggestions, let me know. I'm looking for some critiquing, so let me know what you think!
Too bad the car has to be up here in the cold north; I only get to drive it 4 months out of the year. The other 8 months the car hibernates in my garage!
My main area of focus right now is on the interior. I'm replacing all the leather inside as well as some faded carpet piece's. What really bothers me is I brought the car to a tint shop and they said they couldn't tint the windows since they don't have a border around them like the newer vehicles do. I really want to tint the windows as I know that would prevent any damage to the leather from the sun and heat.
Black is definitely the best color I've seen for a 928, but it is a lot of work keeping a black car looking clean!
As soon as I'm done with the interior I'd like to get a new set of wheels. What do you think of these 18 inch beauties? Black and stealthy? or get noticed with some Chrome?
I just sent my dash, center console, instrument pod, glove box lid, and cassette box lid to the 928 leather shop. I can't wait to see the finished product! Check back for some baby making interior pics!
The roads were good so I thought I should take her out for a quickie!
And finally.. The new interior you have all been waiting for!
New wrapped black leather dash with red stitching... Christmas in August!
Look out! As soon as you step inside this shark.. your done for!

Bam! You have just been bit by the shark!

Every day I walk out to see my baby.. some random vehicle is always drooling over her rear!
Check out that Ass!

I never drive her in winter.. but I let her out of storage for some fresh air once every winter season!
