  82landshark's 1982 Porsche 928

Just purchased the car last fall, the mileage is decent (95k)and the car runs amazing! It's way too much fun to drive this baby with the thundering v8 under the hood! Although, since I started driving the car I have been pulled over a couple too many times. Right now I am in the process of redoing the interior in the car. Like any older land shark the leather was cracked and it wasn't too pretty. If you have any suggestions, let me know. I'm looking for some critiquing, so let me know what you think!

Too bad the car has to be up here in the cold north; I only get to drive it 4 months out of the year. The other 8 months the car hibernates in my garage!

My main area of focus right now is on the interior. I'm replacing all the leather inside as well as some faded carpet piece's. What really bothers me is I brought the car to a tint shop and they said they couldn't tint the windows since they don't have a border around them like the newer vehicles do. I really want to tint the windows as I know that would prevent any damage to the leather from the sun and heat.

Black is definitely the best color I've seen for a 928, but it is a lot of work keeping a black car looking clean!

As soon as I'm done with the interior I'd like to get a new set of wheels. What do you think of these 18 inch beauties? Black and stealthy? or get noticed with some Chrome?

I just sent my dash, center console, instrument pod, glove box lid, and cassette box lid to the 928 leather shop. I can't wait to see the finished product! Check back for some baby making interior pics!

hey whats up? thanks & nice ride too. Get pulled over much? I think I think I'd be tempted to speed with that car haha. Its always nice to see a fargo-an around on here. Good luck with the flood fight.

Wow! I really love the new leather with the red stitching.Porsche offers a simular option on new 911's. As for the wheels, I would buy the black Vector rims.I supprised you can get the correct offset for the 928 from Vector. I would also consider wheels like my 996 Porsche factory rims and have them custom painted black. The 17" size is a large enough not too oversized rim. You should consider moving to Florida, then you could drive you 928 all year round. You are doing an excellent job on your 928!
