Here is my current Miata (MX5 in the UK).

I bought it as a standard S Spec model, except for the RS Aizawa nosecone which was added by a previous Japanese owner.

I removed the 14" BBS wheels and added the 16" Hairpins alloys and replaced the factory Bilstiens with FM springs and Koni adjustable shocks.

I tried some polished Sparco NS2 alloys on but wasn't convinced.

Here it is with the split rim SSR's I refurbished.

A recent addition was these Zoom rear lights as I never liked the standard ones. I then swapped the Zoom lenses with some off a Land Rover. I'm still not sure whether to colour code them or not.

Then decided I didn't like the badges or clear center brake light and bought a 5 digit number plate.

I fitted the first (used) JRSC kit the week after buying it. I replaced the standard crappy foam filter with a Prelude paper air filter and removed the plastic cover on the bonnet to let some cold air in.

This was run with an AFPR for a while, then I sold it as I intended to get an FFS Coldside MP62 kit...

but circumstances changed so I ran it NA for 6 months which was fortunate as I fitted a Spec clutch that needed a long wear in period and a lightened flywheel.

Then I found another used M45 kit so that went on with a smaller 62.5mm pully, a Powercard and an O2 clamp which made it a much nicer drive with better and smoother power.

Six months later the water pump went so I took the opportunity to fit the FM adjustable cam pulleys and cut the front off the cam cover so I could adjust them, then painted it satin black.

I also added the alloy plate above the rad to force air to go through rather than around the rad. Which was also upgraded to a thicker one out of an Automatic, I didn't have overheating problems but one came up at the right price !
