mcsteve's 1989 Honda Civic Well I'm not into audio too much as you can see but this site works for now. My true love is motocross. Workin on cars has kinda come secondary. I mainly came to this site because my friend is on here too. And no, I don't think my car is all of that. It is nice and it is has got some get up. But racing is like fighting: sometimes you're faster than the other guy and sometimes you get your ass handed to you. Who cares though, right. As long as you're out there havin' fun.
My '89 runs a mid to low 14 in the 1/4 and I like to keep it simple. I like power, not accesories. It's not fast enough yet, but what car ever is? I hope to get a 1.8 Dart block for it soon and turbo it. Maybe even a 50 shot to go along with it. Then of course comes the upraded tranny, fuel system, ignition, and intake manifold. Basically all the stuff she will need to run reliably @ around 500bhp. My goal is to make it hit a ten. But then again I not a millionaire so time is not exactly on my side. Happy tuning.

Hey tech, thanks for the complements. 10's wll be hard but it's not gonna be a daily driver. Hey but u gotta check out these new Dart blocks though. I can get one of these things in a 1.8 and it is already braced and all the good things that a new head needs to have to make gobs of power. The come one piece but they are $2k. That's a bit but when u look at having a a block blueprinted and all this done to it, it's kinda worth it. I know that they are not avalible to the public yet but they are suppose to be by the end of March. They are definatly gonna be nice. I can't wait cause this is gonna be a key roll in gettin this thing to run a reliable high bhp.

You chose a great car with a great engine bro-nice. 10's are fairly unrealistic if you don't do it pretty much full time (full time hobby!!) and it sounds like you love your motocross. With a turbo your little beast should run 12's whilst maintaining great reliability (just watch your syncros)-Any way, keep me updated when you post some pics-Later bro
