This is my 1968 Firebird 400. Its undergoing a complete frame-off restoration. I picked it up for $725 and am slowly making progress. It came with a non-original pontiac 400, but we're gonna drop a high performance chevy 350 into it. It'll push around 400 HP. It was a stock floor shift automatic car, but we're going to drop in a 4-speed saginaw we had laying around. check back regularly for updates.

We're gonna paint it House Of Kolor Ultra Orange Pearl:

We found it in a field.

we got it home and washed it up a little bit to see what the body looked like.

most of the interior was wet and smelt strongly of mold.

some of it will be re-used but most of it will be replaced.

once we stripped the interior, we saw that some animals had been living in the car for some time and had made some nests. lol.

Finally we moved it into the garage to begin the real work.

the trunk will need replacing.

after we pulled the motor, we began to disassemble the front subframe. most of the front clip (fenders/hood) was junk and will be replaced.

we fabricated a rotiserie to make work a little easier.

we're gonna need to get some new floor pans too.
