craigp's 1966 Rambler Classic
Well here's the next or most likely the current project. This 1966 Rambler Classic 770 wagon was originally from Aiken, South Carolina where it spent most of it's life. Along with the car came a folder full of misc. receipts for various maintenance items over the course of the years along with the original AMC Window sticker listing all the options which were as follows:
Airliner Reclining seats: $25.00
Flash-o-matic Transmission: $182.65
232 Cu. In Eng. 2B carb: $11.80
Radio, push button: $58.25
White Tires -01: $32.40
Wheel Discs: $20.20
Light Group: $8.85
Dowguard Full Fill Coolant: $4.20
Total MSRP: $3,068.85

Plus other things like a complete 4-shock installation with parts and labor at Sears in 1977, grand total, $19.99

Overall the car is in pretty good shape. Needs a carb rebuild but does start and run and moves around. Some rust in the usual places but nothing major. Original miles are only

The Cragar Protech rims came off an '82 Firebird I had bought and since they have almost new tires I kept them. They are vintage late 80's.

So now the fun begins........

That is a sweetheart of a Rambler Wagon! I have a 65 Rambler Marlin and I always wanted a wagon to go with it!
