WELCOME...
This is my '67 Barracuda Convertible.
I should've taken pictures of the process from barn find to this, but I didn't.

It had been off the road for quite a while...
25 years.
15 of them with me, it just sitting there.
I did find the time to do a few things over the years,
but now...she's closer to finished than ever. Here's a little of the backstory.
I found this car sitting next to a barn, fifteen years ago...with plywood and spare tires piled on the disintegrating convertible top. The owner at the time had gotten it from the original owner, it hadn't moved since he had brought it home...more than ten years before my visit.
Just sitting there.
I brought it home, or more importantly in relation to this Barracuda's destiny...I had it stored at a friends house when I, with the zeal of youth, took my car completely apart and put every little thing in labeled baggies to get it ready for restoration.
It actually fired right up before I decided to dismember it...with a little gas and a fresh battery after the 10 long years of weeds got a hosing off.
It rattled like Hell, but it started.
Then I moved, and took my car...and the 10 boxes of parts to my new home.
Where I was living during the '94 Northridge Earthquake.
I lost my windshield, driver's side windows and some trim in the quake when half the garage came down but more importantly...some key boxes of unobtainable stuff was lost as well. Most importantly, we both survived. The garage was a teardown.
Ten years later, those meticulously labeled baggies I had were completely illegible and of no help at all whatsoever but seeing as the car was in pieces, it was much easier to take it COMPLETELY apart for the new paint.
It's 2008, and she's all put back together.
So now, freshly registered after an hour at the DMV...
I'm going to take the canyon to the beach and let my Barracuda breathe for the first time in 25 years.
25 years since she's been on the road!
I really should track down the original owner and show her off...
