Horrible News: Okay so on friday January 23 my car got broken into while i was in class which was between 11-2. whoever did it had a lot of balls because my car was parked in the first spot closest to the main street. but they were also very stupid because my radar detector and gps were on the windshield and they didn't touch it. the stole my sound system out of my trunk. i paid around 300 dollars more for my gps and radar detector so i laugh at them for being so stupid. the insurance company will have a lot to fix since they managed to scratch all 4 doors, bust a window, scratch some of the interior, and new tint. im trying to convince them they have to re.tint my whole car because by them just doing 1 window it will stand out and wont be even since my tint is mildly faded [at least in my eyes it will] but they had also broken into 4 other cars at my school and my school has no cameras in the parking lot or any type of security. i will be purchasing a viper security system some time this week. i pray that insurance will be covering my sound system. it appears they will be but i won't know for sure till monday.

Update: So amazing news. the 3 is being picked up tomorrow and towed to the shop to get all fixed up and tint re.done. thank god. plus the insurance company is going to write me a check for the amount of stolen properity. so im looking at getting just a 12" kenwood sub with a kenwood amp. nothing big like last time. and invest the rest of the money and my next paycheck all into a viper security system. working on buying a set of black painted rx8 rims [ill let my dad take them to work & have them professionally powder.coated]

Update 1/28/09: Wow. long week let me tell you. but im suppose to be getting my car back tomorrow and ill be driving straight to some shops to get quotes on car alarms and try to get it done monday if not tuesday. ill be ordering the new system some time next week and hook it up myself [tons of fun there, haha] oh but the idiots who decided to fuck my car up..... i was told by a cop that came to the school to pick a kid up for bringing a fake gun to school [go figure, haha, dumb ass] he told me that they are 100% positive they know who did it and they will most likely be arresting him and his brother tomorrow if they show up for school :D and they are being linked to several other break in over the past year including stealing CAT off of cars in the parking lot. can you say pWnD.

Update 1/31/09: YAYYYYY!!!!! finally got to go get my car today. i am very please with the work that this shop did. they fixed everything. they even repainted my doors. total cost of repair was around 1500 dollars. now i just have to wait on my check from the insurance company for my sound system and then ill order a new one along with the security system.
